120. Numerical Investigation of Wind and Fire Interaction in Building Facades (I-12-AYOU-035)

In recent years, an increase in spectacular façade fire occurred around the world. One of the major reasons for this is the use of combustible cladding systems. Other reasons are that the buildings are exposed to a virous environment and factors such as wind may have significant impacts on fire behaviours. So, we are aiming to investigate wind effects on façade fire. By using numerical modelling tools, we replicated the BS8414-1 façade fire test using software and implemented parametric study regarding wind. Replications were then provided based on these findings.
