136. Topology Optimisation of Cantilever Beams to Improve Efficiency (I-12-BBAR-081)

This is an approach to applying topology optimisation on cantilever beams. The aim is to reduce the material used without significantly reducing the performance of the beam structure by finding a maximum strength-weight ratio. This optimisation approach is aimed to be achieved by 3D printing technology, which allows for the design of complex shaped beams.
