96. Development of Precast Concrete Using Recycled Glass Fines and Wastepaper (I-12-SMAS-090-B)

This project aims to deliver a tailored and environmentally friendly concrete mixture design primarily using recycled glass fines (RGF) and cellulose fibres (CF) from wastepaper to optimise its strength and reduce the use of traditional virgin quarried materials. The main objective is to develop environmentally friendly construction materials primarily using RGF and CF from wastepaper with the aid of software modelling. The main technical task of this project is to establish a computational model that can simulate the compressive and flexural strength of concrete under different modelling scenario with RGF and CF-based mixes. Each mix sample will be tested using different modelling scenarios.
